Most Flamenco shoes have straps that are worn closer to the ankle while many Folklorico shoes have straps that are worn over the instep, and Folklorico shoes often have a slightly different heel angle. Both have nails on the heel and on the underneath front toe box.
Folkorico skirts are double circle and reach the heel, while the Flamenco skirt is long and fitted at the waist, flaring out dramatically to create a circular shape with ruffles on the hem.
